Purchased by Benjamin de Rothschild in 2003, Château des Laurets was the family’s first acquisition on the right bank of Bordeaux. Aiming from the very beginning to achieve its finest potential. Excellent clay-limestone soils give this Merlot dominant, Saint-Emilion wine, its distinctive taste, receiving gold at London Wine Competition 2023.
An extremely fresh nose expresses intense black fruit notes. Hints of cedar mingle with the aroma of Morello cherries. Elegant palate possesses a bold attack followed by magnificent breadth; the sophisticated velvety tannins evoke crisp black fruits.
