Located on the valley floor beneath the starkly dramatic Pisa Ranges, Murrell is dedicated to growing fruit for the popular RUA Pinot Noir.

Murrell vineyard in the Pisa subregion is 13 hectares planted to four different Pinot Noir clones and is flat and exposed with a marked swing of day to night temperatures during the growing season. This daily temperature fluctuation results in bright structural acidity in the pinot noir growing here, which brings strawberry and raspberry fruit character and fresh deliciousness to the RUA pinot noir. Murrell was planted in 1999, and has some of the oldest vines across the estate, contributing interest and complexity to our wines.
