“Commerce 7” is our CRM platform we use to collect personal data when you make a purchase or attempt to make a purchase through the Site, we collect certain information from you, including your name, billing address, shipping address, payment information (including credit card numbers) email address, and phone number. We refer to this information as “Order Information.” This is then integrated using “Mailchimp” which is the platform used to communicate to email subscribers.
“Windcave” - Wine Club Members and Online Customers can store Credit Card numbers using our payment gateway ‘Windcave’ through Commerce 7. Windcave is committed to data security. Windcave uses a variety of technologies and procedures to help protect personal information from unauthorized access, use or disclosure. For example, Windcave stores the data in computer servers with limited access that are located in controlled facilities secured by advanced surveillance and security technology. When Windcave transmits sensitive information (such as a payment card number), Windcave protects it through the use of encryption, such as the Secure Socket Layer (“SSL”) protocol. Credit card details stored onsite are encrypted using 168bit 3DES encryption. Windcave is a level 1 certified PCI-DSS compliant provider. 3) HOW WE USE YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION.
We use the Order Information that we collect generally to fulfil any orders placed through the Site (including processing your payment information, arranging for shipping, and providing you with invoices and/or order confirmations). Additionally, we use this Order Information to:
Communicate with you in terms of promotions, newsletters, discounts, special offers and events. All customers can consent to this and opt out at any time.
