Akarua's Cellar Door is situated on picturesque Cairnmuir Road in Bannockburn, Central Otago, where the winery and home vineyard are.

Our aim is to provide our visitors with a relaxed, enjoyable experience and to share the history and story of Akarua whilst also imparting our intimate knowledge of our wines and what makes them so special.

Every Tuesday and Wednesday, chef Gabi Lind brings The Kitchen Garden to the Akarua Cellar Door.

Rooted in seasonality and local produce, her menu celebrates the flavours of Central Otago through generous, thoughtful dishes designed to be enjoyed alongside Akarua wines. Set among the vineyards of Bannockburn, it's a simple invitation to slow down, savour the season, and share good food and wine.
